Noir Happened Here - Then And Now - On the left. Its the corner of 7th & Warren. A New York Central RR yard switcher pulls a drag of empties across the intersection. To the left is the Greyhound Bus Station. Its the same intersection where Harry Bellefonte witnesses the auto accident. It's a block away from the bank they are going to rob on 6th. Its Odds Against Tomorrow (1959) the town is called Melton.
On the right is the same corner of 7th & Warren its 2019 just a year ago. The switcher is now a CXS RR locomotive, its heading back to the main line along the Hudson River. The real name of the town is Hudson the old bus station is now a clothing store.

Very nice!

So the train now is on the same track as in the movie, but goes in the opposite direction now?

Its a spur line to a couple of factories in Hudson so empties are pulled in and loaded cars are brought out to the freight yard.
