When I was interested in comedies -- roughly between the ages of 13-20 -- my favorites were:

The Austin Powers trilogy
There's Something About Mary
Shrek (the first one)
My Cousin Vinny
Varsity Blues
Road Trip
American Pie (the first one)

(I always thought a good comedy was the hardest movie to make, and that there are fewer great comedies than great movies of any other genre).

There are three types of people in the world, my friend: those who can add, and those who can't.

Great list, Noodles! And I'm glad someone remembered the Lady Killers, CJ. I assume you're talking about the Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers one, not the Tom Hanks one.

I'll throw in my favorites that haven't been mentioned yet:

O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Batman: The Movie (Does that count?  :D)
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Bringing Up Baby
Modern Times
The Sting

Marisa Tomei won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in My Cousin Vinny, that made me laugh. ;D
