2, 5, 6 and 9 are among my favorites too. I'd quickly add, probably forgetting tens of other ones:

- BLADE RUNNER: tears in the rain soliloquy
- APOCALYPSE NOW: Valkyries
- THE SOCIAL NETWORK: opening scene
- CHINATOWN: final
- THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON: break up scene
- RESERVOIR DOGS: stuck in the middle with you
- SCOTT PILGRIM: opening scene
- LADY FROM SHANGHAI: mirrors scene
- THE WILD BUNCH: opening shootout
- INDIANA JONES, THE LAST CRUSADE: opening sequence
- CRASH: a really good cloak
- SCHINDLER'S LIST: ending monologue
- FULL METAL JACKET: Mickey Mouse song
- THE DEER HUNTER: Streep/De Niro scene when he comes back from Vietnam and avoids the party

The Master: No-blinking processing scene
Boogie Nights: Drug deal, donut shop, You've Got the Touch, most of the movie, etc.
Magnolia: Opening stories. Character introductions. The second Jim first sees Claudia.
There Will Be Blood: "I've Abandoned my Child". Oil rig explosion,

Eh I'll just stop at PTA. I've got stuff to do today. Maybe I'll add more later.

EDIT: Maybe my favorite scene in any non-PTA, non-Leone movie (or maybe better than anything they've done): The ending confrontation in Paris, Texas. Some of the most brilliant writing, directing, and acting in any film ever.

And two more off the top of my head: 16mm home footage sequence in Raging Bull.... and the short 30 second sequence in Days of Heaven where the girl and Sam Shepard first meet. Two very simple, low-scale moments which hold much more power than they initially seem to present

a few off the top of my head; I'll probably add more posts as I think of more:

In no particular order

A) Hannibal - dinner scene

B) House of Strangers - the first flashback shot, the opera plays as the camera climbs up the stairs (and up into the past), IMO one of the most beautiful shots in all of cinema

C) Hud - the sing-along to the song My Darling Clementine in the movie theater

D) Fort Apache - dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BX99GBCtysI

E) My Darling Clementine - dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WXwO7Hqluo (the dance scene actually begins at 4:17 of the vid, but watch the whole vid - there's also that hilarious moment where Ward Bond walks past Linda Darnell and whinnys

F) Saving Private Ryan - both the opening battle (D-Day) and the final battle scenes

G) The Patriot - final battle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQQ9ySdQ5Qs (I haven't seen this movie in ten years, but it was my face when I was a teenager)

H) Pride of the Yankees - all the scenes with Babe Ruth! And Bill Dickey and Mark Koenig and Bob Meusel! eg. here is The Last Straw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3FPbS_XeaE

I) The Blue Gardenia - the restaurant scene, because at least 5 different times, some Chinese guy says, "Mr. Prebble is a verrrry fancy man with the ladies," and I laughed so hard every time, I was crying  ;D

and an honorable to mention goes to "Jack, I want you to paint me like one of your French girls..." - cuz it's a very important moment in a young boy's (in my case, 13 yrs. old) life, when he sees his first pair of tits..........

a shitty movie like that, no way. I mean, of course a bad movie can have a great scene, but IMO this scene is not great in and of itself, it only means something if you care about the character. And in GF3, I didn't care about anything except the movie being over
