I must have friggin fever and flu. Maybe even strep. Gotta see doctor. Looks like the weather, lack of sleep, and partying may be exacting their vengeance on me. Or perhaps the devil that watches over Susanna Rigacci is turning around the thousand curses I've laid upon her extra large ass.....

It sounds too bombastic for my taste of music.

Well I have to agree here. I was wondering why the hell did Ennio put a Metallica song in the middle of his concert?

Could be a long-lasting Super Bowl present from the Irish girl. Did you check to make sure she'd had all her shots?

No, there's no rashes. Just a helluva lotta soreness... And I was slightly sick before the Super Bowl already; a few quiet nights spent indoors drinking soda water might have gotten rid of whatever I have, but.......

Just got back from doctor. Fever, maybe some virus too. No social diseases....

I found that On earth as it is in heaven was kind like overloaded in instruments and voices. The result was confusing and chaotic. We couldn't really distinguish the voices and localize the instruments. All that resulted in a mess. Contrary to the CD where all is very clear (despite the many voices and instruments of this piece).
I was pretty far of the orchestra, wich means I had difficulty to clearly see things. And I couldn't read the subtitles of the documentary wich was frustrating.

From what I read in comments here and there on the web, it seems that the sound mix was far from perfect for people who were not as close a I was lucky to be. I was happy with the mix but it has probably more to do with the placement than with anything else.

Bercy is a terrible place for a concert: it's far too big. It's more of a stadium than a concert hall. It's what pushed me to pay the highest price. They should definitely have used cameras and the big screens. I went to see a concert of M there in december and the use of the screens (as well as M's great mise en scene) made up for the cheap seats I had at the time.

I didn't know he was playing in Nimes next July. Thanks. He'll also be playing in Berlin tomorrow, so yeah, lucky Germans. May be we should have a thread about his upcoming concerts?
