7-1 at home in a 95% yellow stadium after having destroyed the homes of tens of thousands of poor people is probably a bigger humiliation than the French team going on strike during a WC, which I thought couldn't be topped. Brazil is probably paying for years of terrible selection process and team building (politics and friends over skills).

This Brazil without Neymar and Thiago Silva is worse than Italy. But I think there must be somewhere a better striker than Fred.  Just consider that Germany against Algeria had to go to extra time. Is Algeria better than Brazil and Italy? Yes.

A team being is less efficient without its 2 key players is normal. A team destroyed by the loss of its 2 key players isn't a team, they're a bunch of amateurs.
