Below is a link to a movie I made recently, a music video, done to "The Trio" by Ennio Morricone and done in the style of SL as a labor of love. It's gotten some good remarks by people who don't know anything abou Leone, so I'm proud of it. Let me know what you think  :)

A few notes:

-The link isn't the link to movies I"ve made. I made it with another pseudo-studio, but my actual studio site is:
www.myspace.com/fubar_films

-I did a commentary for the DVD, and on the website, there's a behind the scenes feature done during production.

-If anyone asks, I'll explain about the bums.

Here's the link:

Enjoy!  ;D

Ah "MySpace", where human contact goes to die.

I get audio on your film but I cannot seem to get a visual. :(
I'll keep trying though.

Ok. I"ve heard other people complain about the formats and such, but I've tested it out on other computers and it seems to run okay. Does it work now?

Oh I saw that on Youtube the other day. It's very impressive, nice twist at the end.

Hi Fuzzyboots,

I saw your clip. Very cleverly done. From your composition, editing style, I can see you really admire Leone. One thing though, why the love triangle has to be solved by a gun at the end? It can give a dagerous message. I know it's a western spoof, but your setting is not a wild west fantasy. But over all, you have a potential as film maker. Good direction.

I felt the same. while I dont give a crap about what message it sends out...I felt the gun was just a quick resolution to the problem. In a western it would work but for a game of cards played by kids set in modern day...it seems a bit off.

I appreciate the feedback here. Thank you (many here are more appreciative than the youtube commenters). I made the movie as an ode to Leone but with some of my filmmaking style thrown in, and within the realm of the movie, figured that if the jealous guy lost his girl via a game of cards, he'd probably get lethal.

Although there was one part of the ending I did cut out, where after the guy is shot, the shooter thinks "Oh crap" and runs away

That was best left out. Although I agree with Firecracker that the gun seemed out of place, I looked past that simply because of the ironic twist. Very good work.   :)
