Don't forget Class of '44--the best part being the ending. Since, well, ya know... it was finally over.

I agree Whalestoe, however there were some memorable scenes, such as the one
with Hermie opening his father's closet and touching his coat shortly after he died.
Very poignant.

It's perfect timing, large one...

Apart from Leone...

Local Hero!
SPOILER I love the ambiguity of the ringing phone box. We never learn who was calling and why and whether someone answered the phone. And I love how the music changes from the film to the end titles.

OUATITW
GBU
OUATIA
Aguirre
Goodfellas (I have a love/hate relationship to this one but anyway I can't deny it's great and the only possible ending for the movie)

It's Peter Riegert calling because he misses everybody in Scotland and wants to come back. There's no ambiguity whatsoever. Did you watch this when you were 8 years old or something?

No. And I see the ambiguity there. It can just as well be somebody else. And if you don't see the ambiguity here, then I hope you at least see it in the title. ;)
Maybe I'm still sort of 8 years old with films, though. And, sorry to tell you, I like it that way.
