New York Times Best 1000 films

Ok here is a little project for us the NYT has a list of the best 1000 films GBU is on it but sacreligiously OUTITW & OUTIA are not. There is a discussion board where we can rant about that, but first there is a readers review of the 100 most highly rated movies of all time, this is determined by readers reviews which means "us", as it is now current films are in that 100 we can change that to get GBU up there by adding our reviews and rating the film.

You may have to register with the NYT but it costs nothing.

im likely to enflame american opinion on this board, but sorry guys your nation has let us down again!  

Not only do u re-elect Bush but then your compatriots omit two of DEFINITELY the top 50 films of all time from a list of the top 1000!! Inexplicable. Tho 2 be honest most americans, if theyve seen the once upon a times at all, have probably only seen the radically cut versions, which btw, was the fault of the editor of Police Academy. Ingenious decision.  

And i though the NYT was a respected publication...

Yes,they let us down when they re-elected the hopelessly unqualified clown who is running the country for four more years now.

And yes,they let us down when they omitted OUATITW and OUATIA from the Top-1000.

And YES,NYT IS a respected publication.This doesn''t change that for me.

I think the problem is that the NYT on the web is that its fairly new and a lot of the entrants may have been posted by fairly new to the world people and anything older than the eighties may not count to them at least that what it seems like for the top 100 list.

I have done my duty.  GBU now has a score over 4.8.  It should be ranked number one right now, but there are only 50+ votes.  Maybe it needs over 100 to be on the list ?  Some of those on the list are laughable... Secondhand Lions ?
