Yea I was going to post the same thing, to our international members remember, not everything is what it seems, american english slang is always evolving...

"its money" = its good (for example) and I'm sure the rest of us can add more too....

They already tried an 'homage' of GBU.

( homage in this case meaning theft of core storyline without credit)

It was called GUNMEN  1994 - starred Christoper Lambert

Cheezy mexico to miami money chase buddy romp movie.

(that's probably how it got pitched to the studio as well)

The only way they could realistically remake this movie would be to transplant the story into World War II - with a director of true vision ( eerr of which maybe three at the most exist today) - you'd make a film that was perhaps 50% close to the original. Of course the statistical odds of getting that cinematic mood just right for a remake of this calibre are practically zero.

Whom are they planning to put in charge of the soundtrack? J LO.?, Madonna? Duran Duran?

Haha, I can just imagine J-Lo doing those Ai-ee-ai-ee-ahs.

It's class.

Well, apparently pre-production is underway for a remake of "The Wild Bunch" (to be directed by David Ayer and updated to the modern day - :o) - I've also heard that "Bring Me The Head of Alfredo Garcia" is also on the bargaining table (could we get some angrier smilies, please?).  >:(

To be fair, there's no guarantee that either of those remakes will definitely be made . . . but that's direction things are looking . . .  :-\

While it was fun to tinker with the cast of OUATITW (as they had more "conventional" actors), there is simply no one who can replace Clint, Eli, and LVC.  Period.  'Nuff said.
