It will be an individual release.
I'll definitely pass on this, as I don't think much of it outside of the river scene.
Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre..

Savant's review. More negative than my take, but fair criticisms:

Hmmm, maybe a BD purchase in this case is NOT indicated?

It's a visually bland movie. I'd question whether hi-def would add a lot to the experience.

Thanks. I'm already on the hook for
The Train
and
The Mechanic
(72) for this month, and I need SOME excuse to stop spending.

TRT is a big mess at best, pathetic in more than one occasion and artificially flavored most of the time. The biggest problem is that some questions the movie raises (or better - tries to interpret) are very complex and important by nature that they automatically, even in their simplest and most basic derivative, raise the status of the medium significantly. Otherwise the movie's a total waste of time and resources, in my book. Didn't care for the performances either
5/10

Though Andy Devine was funny, and Woody Strode in excellent condition.

I finally saw this movie, as it played on TCM recently as part of James Stewart month. Thank God I did not spend any money buying a disc. This movie is an absolute piece of shit. 3/10

There is a scene early in the movie in which a stagecoach comes into town, and Marshall Jimmy Stewart is sitting on the porch, with his feet up on the railing. Definitely a reference to
My Darling Clementine
.
There is also a scene with Richard Widmark and Stewart at the bar. Widmark says to the bartender, "Four." Then Stewart says, "Three." Reminiscent of an early scene in
Fort Apache
: four men walk into the bar. One says, "Four beers." A second says, "And I'll have the same."
But the comparisons end there:
My Darling Clementine
and
Fort Apache
are two of the greatest Westerns ever made.
Two Rode Together
is horseshit.
