Morricone soundtracks

Blue Underground has Dario Argento's Bird With The Crystal Plumage dvd coming out on tuesday 10/25.The dvd has a feturette called ( The music of murder ) that has an interview/feature with Ennio Morricone.
 Figured some here might be intersted in that bit of info.I will be getting the disk and will let you know how it is once it arives.

Isolated scores don't seemed to be so prominent on dvd these days. Alot of morricone late 60s/early 70s scores could of been served well on DVD. Specially soundtracks that are hard to find.

Paramount's recent Danger Diabolik DVD is proberly the best quality way to listen to his soundtrack to date.

I am new here and am enjoying reading everyone's opinions.  I was just going to throw in my two cents and give a big thumbs up for Morricone's work in _Two Mules for Sister Sara_.  By far some of Morricone's best SW music (that is aside from his work with Leone).

I very recently picked up The Exorcist DVD from Ebay having already seen and enjoyed The Exorcist 3 on television recently which was written and directed by William Blatty,author of the original book.On the DVD is a trailer to Exorcist 2:the Heretic including a pretty wild soundtrack which i just discovered is by Morricone.The film isn't meant to be very good,but i'm hoping this will show up on TV soon if only to hear some more Morricone.
Has anyone seen this movie who could comment on the soundtrack?

i saw this about a year ago but i don't really remember the soundtrack even though i knew it was morricone i guess that says something.

I've had the Untouchables on tape for years and i went back to watch it recently on hearing Morricone did the soundtrack and its not particularly memorable.
I do like his score though in Frantic starring Harrison Ford-even with Grace Jones singing!!

I know what you mean about Grace Jones but it does actually suit this film which is largely based around the seedier side of Paris.

I'm not really into buying compilations from any artist because these never seem to flow very well,and you inevitably end up duplicating tracks you already own.
I have to say that the Exorcist 2 does look really good in the trailer,but i'm definately not going to risk buying the DVD for fear of disappointment after seeing the original and Blatty's official follow-up Exorcist 3 aka Legion.

Mine is European CD, with 20 tracks I believe, got it in 2000 or 2001.  However, I noticed this at intrada.com, but they say they're out of stock (I've purchased from them in the past).
