personally i am gonna have to go with WEST.
this should be interesting to see the many preferences.

i have  a suspicion that JUAN miranda's favorite is DUCK U SUCKER!

and i think some of u find WEST boring
and a few of u say that A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS is not up to snuff.
well i will finally see.

I gotta go with GBU- I love OATITW, but on the basis of showing a Leone western to friends, GBU always goes over the best, while OATITW puts em to sleep and sometimes turns them off Leone (the unititiated find it too "slow"). I think you need to see the first three before West, to appreciate West. But for the combination of scale/humour/and the Eastwood/Wallach/Van Cleef relationship, I think it's GBU. It may not have the artistic perfection that West has, but it is more entertaining. Plus, I'm sorry but Eastwood slightly edges out Bronson in the cool department, Cheyanne doesn't come close to Tuco, although I will admit that Fonda beats Van Cleef, but only slightly.

As for Claudia, well there is no comparison.

tough choice really, but I gotta go with gbu. the west has many good moments, but the slow pacing puts it below gbu.

Sorry to dissapoint Hex, but I voted for GBU. It is just pure class. GIU LA TESTA is a great film too, but I can see that it's flawed in places. GBU is pure perfection, and has a level of escapism missing in GLT which makes each viewing such a joy.

I would have gone with The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. But all of them are very good.

Gotta go with OUATITW.  Duck You Sucker probably in 2nd place.

Has the poll been closed? I can't vote. My vote would have gone to GBU. OUITW was a favourite for a long time, but now I'm not so sure. Still, the vote has to go to GBU.

Yes, it was the first film to reach five votes. Luckily for me, my favourite movie won.

Leone's best film is Once Upon A Time In the West. Best western all time is Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch. Special DVD edition in januari 2006!
