I photocopied a few articles out of the New York Times when I was in university (they have a huge backlog) here's one of them. It's a great read, take the time and imagine it was 1967.......some fascinating little tidbits - I have a couple more articles...coming soon.....

Thanks for posting. It is always interesting to read articles from when the films were made. I have one circa '64 from i think FILMS & FILMING.
Look forward to seeing the others you have.

That was actually a good article especially considering that this was a review of a spaghetti.

Here is the article from Films & Filming March'65. Quite a positive feel to it. Note the bit about Corbucci and the other early SW'S mentioned. Pistols don't say No is Bullets Don't Argue. Does anyone know about the others?

Jordan, do you have the German Dollars DVD's. Mine just arrived today and in the inside sleeves housing the discs are a couple of great colour images when you take the discs out, which i have never seen before. The FOD one has clint on his mule with no hat on, with Silvamito and the undertaker with his tape measure. The FAFDM one has Indio in the first gundown with his gang standing all around.
I could try and post them but i don't think the quality would be too good with the clear plastic covering them.

yes actually, I have them and I too was impressed with those shots- but the cardboard can't be removed from the plastic - ah well, nice to have them anyways - I'm very happy with the set, nice to have fafdm in sync! (although it still isn't the same as my old pan and scan vhs - which has clint looking up to the sound of thunder in his intro scene) Which 35mm frames did you get? Mine are from the first FOD confrontation scene, clint looking over his shoulder (high angle) with the bad guys in the bg. Pretty good I think.
