Excellent Alex Cox introduction ,last night,as per usual and managed to tack it onto end of my SW collection tape.I didn't stay the distance this time as version appeared to be the same as mine.
Just about to do the usual and email itv4 for more(even though i know there are another 6 to follow!).

Sorry only watched this yesterday as I recorded it on the PVR (which has been great for the past 9 weeks).

I was wondering was the soundtrack/audio really that bad.

There was snaps and crackles all over the place.

Plus I also remember on Django Kill whenthey showed it ... it jumps to the original italian soundtrack for about 5mins then back again.

Sorry to say though I wasn't that much keen on Vengeance, had a great villan in it which I think they could have exploited a whole lot more.

It was on a couple of nights ago on the Western Channel.

I only caught a little since I was dosing off, but I liked what I saw. I kind of like that "lonely" low budget feel of movies like that and Django/Great Silence. That main villain was kind of ridiculous though ;D

Anyone notice how they were trying to get as much shadow on the eyes of the Rocco as possible so that he could have that distinguishing "Eastwood/Nero" jawline?

For those of you who haven't seen it...this low budget but not bad/pretty good tale of revenge...w/ what I think is Richard Harrison's best performance..shows up on Encore Western Channel in May.
Presented correctly...in Widescreen..which Encore does occasionally..but not usually.
Good chance to catch it.

Vengeance (1968)
Directed by Antonio Margheriti. Starring Richard Harrison, Claudio Camaso, Sheyla Rosin, Lee Burton, Werner Pochath, Paolo Gozlino.

Wed  May  3  11:40P on Encore Western
Thu  May  4  03:40P on Encore Western
Tue  May  9  01:10P on Encore Western
Tue  May  9  08:00P on Encore Western
Sun  May 14  06:15P on Encore Western

Does it get the proper treatment on British TV?
Encore shows it fullscreen...which greatly diminishes the movie...which was filmed in Cinemascope.

did you know Camaso mudered his girlfriend in real life?
He was either a nut-job or a jealous person.

this fact makes him even scarier then his older brother.
