Sure. Nero could have done (much) better. At least he filmed with Damiani .

I'm probably not objective about this because I can't stand Steffen. To me he always was
the face of Italian C-Westerns. Some looked good here and there, the action
wasn't bad either a lot of times, but his face was always the same. I need a little bit more
than that, bores me to death. However I only saw about 6 or 8 of his films, maybe I missed
his best (or at least "different") one.

Steffen nickname Stiffen tells how it is. He has a Spag face similar to Eastwood, but only on photos, on the screen there ain't much left of that.

But surprisingly he was quite good parodying himself in Last Train to Durango, or at least he plays there one who is not too bright, and succeeds with that turn from his usual tough guy roles. And the film is also quite good, mixing tongue in cheek stuff with straight violent scenes. Caiano's best western, actually his only interesting one.
