Yes every England v Germany encounter in the WC/Euro finals since 1966 has gone into extra time but this time round with our mediocre start i feel England have still got at least one big performance in them so i'm gonna tempt fate and say  England 2 Germany 1  in normal time. :-\

                                                                                     and Argentina 3 Mexico 1

Yesterdays Results:-  Uruguay 2 South Korea 1
                                   USA 1 Ghana 2

Thanks for a nice afternoon ! Great game. That's what we want to see at WC! Not BRAZIL-PORTUGAL falling alsleep.
Awful misjudgement from the referee (2:2 that never counted), but we were the better team altogether.

Now it's Argentina (1:0 right now) ?

MEXICO, viva la revolucion! VIVA MEXICO! Beat them! Germany-Mexico has the right sound to me!

Well done Mike,Germany were by far the better team in terms of pace, creativity and scoring and i don't think the disallowed goal made much difference.I'm looking forward to the Germany v Argentina game next week.I hope you beat them but i'm sure you'll find them a much sterner test than  dismal England.

Sepp Blatter conceded that the goal technology debate should now be reopened in the next FIFA boad room meeting in July. Not so sure about the recent England and Mexico games but this technology certainly could've made a difference to Italy going out the other day.I'm not too hopeful that anything will happen in July and if nothing changes i strongly feel that Blatter should reconsider his position if he persists in holding back the sport from progressing.

I think Brazil looks like the more solid team, but it's very hard to make predictions: an episode (a red card, an injury, a bad referee call) might change all the scenery. And I didn't see so many matches, I never saw Germany play, for example.

Holland - Brazil  1 - 2

Uruguay - Ghana 2 -0
