we beat hungary 4-1 yesterday, no idea if they're any good.
I didn't see the match, can't tell anything. But surely we are as to physical training way behind other teams which have started the new season well ahead of us. And then there's also the question of starting a new cycle with a new trainer and so on.
Don't suppose you're too worried eh,must seem like a bit of a Mickey Mouse tournament being World Champions and all?
I only saw the first hour, but surely it was a good match: I'd say better than most seen at the WC. Problem is that Italy is way back in training as the national tournaments will only start this week, so italian players couldn't press as they would have with a better condition, expecially as we were behind in the score from the start as the german referee conceded a goal from an action in offside (he also didn't see a penalty as big as a house: Italy didn't really need a german referee, did it?). But also I had the impression that our new trainer didn't have an idea about what to do. Of course he's a newby and we really didn't need a team as France in this time of the season to start a new cycle.
Surely you're not gonna allow the likes of Scotland to pip you for qualification?
