I agree its a hard one but i feel that the results will be a lot less predictable (and fairer for any obscuraties)this way rather than just getting a solitary vote for one SW out of a Morricone shortlist of my choosing.I don't know the exact number but i think Morricones done over 30 SW's and perhaps we'll get to see some of the lesser known titles receiving some credit for which they are due, musically anyway!

1.My Name Is Nobody(24 points)
=2.The Mercenary(16 points)
=2.Big Gundown(16 points)
=2.Companeros(16 points)
=5.Tepepa(12 points)
=5.Great Silence(12 points)
7.Death Rides A Horse(11 points)
8.And For A Roof A Skyful of Stars(9 points)
=9.Five Man Army(8 points)
=9.Run Man Run(8 points)
10.Navajo Joe(4 points)
--------------------------------
11.Face to Face(2 points)

As stated above this is a Morricone soundtrack poll of NON-Leone sw's and i've  updated the poll to take only these into account.
There has already been a number of polls covering Morricones scores for Leone elsewhere and we are all pretty familiar with these soundtracks!
Cigar Joe,in respect of your selections i have allocated 10 points to the Mercenary,9 points to the Great Silence,8 points to the Big Gundown,7 points to Companeros,6 points to Death Rides A Horse,5 points to Tepepa and 4 points to My Name Is Nobody. You are welcome to give me up to three more non-Leone sw titles for your 8th,9th and 10th places, and i'll amend the table.
Likewise Leone Admirer,i've given 10 points for My Name Is Nobody,9 points to Companeros,8 points to Run Man Run and 7 points for Big Gundown. If you can't give me your 5th,6th,7th,8th,9th and 10th choices than this would be a brilliant excuse to rush buy another 6 sw's with a Morricone soundtrack!!!
Indio i bought this brilliant 2 cd set of five Morricone soundtracks including Companeros from :-www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000000PIY/qid%3D1135161934/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/103-3224503-4423821
Although it seems Us Amazon are out of copies,Uk Amazon(search "Morricone western" otherwise it won't come up!) still have one or two available but i'm sure i've seen the title elsewhere.

Well i need to know up to 6 more in total Leone Admirer.I've just had a peek at your collection(don't know how much you've added to this since!) and notice that you have Bullet For The General and Nobodys The Greatest but of course you don't have to include these.
I think you should buy  The Mercenary,Tepepa,
Great Silence,Face To Face,Five Man Army,And For A Roof A Sky Full Of Stars,Navajo Joe and do it quick!!!

Yes you can get a few bargains from Amazon throughout the year although there are certain titles which come to mind that i have on video but would like to upgrade to dvd,Bullet Fot The General,Mannaja,Keoma,Man Called Sledge that never seem to go down in price here.My definate next purchase of Amazon uk will be the new MGM dvd of Death Rides A Horse to replace my reasonable quality but pan & scan MGM vhs.
I've never used any of the other sellers although i'm aware play.com are good for bargains .
