Clint wins in coolness, for sure, but Tuco pulls at all my heartstrings on different levels. For example, the beating scene with the song (don't know the title) sung by the soldiers is so, so, so powerful.

No, I really wouldn't say he stole the show, but more so that... Tuco was the main character. That's my opinion.

Yeah, Tuco is basically the main character. I agree with you there. Eli Wallach was fantastic as Tuco. I honestly can't picture anybody else playing him.
