I know there's a ton of members who don't post too often, if at all, so that might account for the poor turnout.  Just look at the list of members for the site and a majority have single digit posts.

Or maybe everyone hasn't seen all of Leone's movies.  I only saw OUAITA for the first time last summer.  That's all I'm coming up with.  Your guess may be as good as mine.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether GBU or OUATIA should go above the other.  GBU is a more entertaining film, but OUATIA is "greater".  So, I'll go this way:

1) Once Upon A Time In The West
2) The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
3) Once Upon A Time In America
4) For A Few Dollars More
5) A Fistful of Dynamite
6) A Fistful of Dollars (honestly I don't like this one much at all)

1) The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
2) For A Few Dollars More
3) Once Upon A Time In America
4) Once Upon A Time In The West
5) Fistful Of Dollars

It's actually really close. I love them all and each has a special place. I'd definitely place GBU first, always. The rest of the list changes sometimes, but that's how it is. Again, really close though, and I hate these list things, cause they're always changing.

My ever changing order is currently:-
1 GBU
2 FAFDM
3 FOD
4 OUATITW
5 DYS
6 OUATIA
The top 3 never fail to satisfy but the slow pacing of 4,5 or 6(still all great movies) means you have to be in the right mood!

So if we consider the data we've got on this website regarding the number of posts and topics, here are the positions:

1  GBU
2  OAUTITW
3  OUATIA
4  FFDM
5  OUATTR
6  FFO

ANY COMMENTS GUYS?

Well my comment is its hard to compare OUATIA with the Westerns in the list. It should be in its own list with other Gangster films, it seems to me, just as COR should be with Sword & Sandal flics.

cheyenne always seamed like a well organized gangster.  his gang genuiely cares for him in a sort of mafioso way.

jason robards, had just finished up roger corman's "st. valentine's day massacre", the year before, in the role of al capone.  i think possibly robards was still in that  capone mindset while playing the role of cheyanne.

genre crunching ? gangster to outlaw ? i'll start a list  ;D

Yeah, Robards as Capone was a rather odd bit of casting.  I thought that movie was watchable but nothing special.

SVDM had a made for t.v. look to it, w/ the exception of the exterior shots.  when robards/capone, scince he's italian, makes a visit to patsy lolordo, the head sicilian family member, to get permission to whack Dion O'bannion.  when his entourage pulls up and his gang gets out of their 2 cars, then capone himself steps out of his limo, the wind increases and street trash is blowing like a cyclone. i think of leone when i see that shot. i can see how it may not be up to standards grog. never the less you get yer jack nicholson as special sicilian hit man. Just a quick message to refresh this topic with a question: why only 13 of us posted on this one?

I suppose I'd have to admit that, over all the years, I have changed my mind a few times but, now, after due deliberation, I think this would be my final decision.  I worked it out on the basis of which ones I couldn't live without if I was forced to - in that order:

1. DYS
2. OUTIW
3. GBU
4. FAFDM
5. AFOD
6. OUTIA
7. COR

When I met Sir Frayling at Gene Autry museum last year, I was asked which Leone film is my favorite (those who were there must have been asked the same question). For a moment, I couldn't pick one because I love all of Leone films. But I picked OUTIW. So, my favorite list goes like this:

1. Once Upon A Time In The West
2. Dollar Trilogy (each is better than the other ones ;D)
3. Duck You Sucker, Once Upon A Time In America (choosing one between these two is as painful as Sophie's Choice)
4. Colossus of Rhodes
