I didn't think I recognised this set but could this be the FDM El Paso set, Mortimer's hotel on the right, and a wooden facade constructed over the Bank of El Paso?
in these parts a man's life can depend on a mere scrap of information.

Leone very often returned to locations that he'd used before, but would then shoot them in a subtly different way to create what seemed to be an entirely new location.
Look closely at his Sword & Sandal movies and you'll be amused to see places that eventually got re-used in his Westerns

It was the new face on the bank that threw me until I recently realised it was the El Paso set from FDM. As you say from different angles you get the impression that it is different towns. I think in GBU it was used in :
Tuco hanging scene
Maria the prostitute's hotel scene
Tuco walks into town over rope bridge scene
Tuco tries to hang Blondie in hotel scene
in these parts a man's life can depend on a mere scrap of information.
