In the 5, 5 years of this millenium we have lost so many of the Leone collaborators and the faces we love to behold so profoundly.

One of the main reasons for my eagerness to see Morricone in London this year BTW.

In no particuar order:

Charles Bronson
Jason Robards
Jack Elam
Tonino delli Colli
James Coburn
Rod Steiger
Carlo Simi
Richard Bright

I think it's possible to add much more I just cant remember right now. Go ahead and add to the list - Leone greats.

Thank god we still have Eli, Clint, and Ennio...

They will all live forever.

i feel the same way. on the other hand i'm thankful
for the efforts and sacrifices these people made is
preserved on film.  these guys started started disappearing in  ' 89 w/ the death of leone himself.  so many were lost in the 90's alone.  now, suddenly it's '06 and there's such a precious few left. i'm thankful for this board  :D i can discuss, or pick up on so many excelent conversations.

thx, BB for having respect for things that used to be ;)

The amount of work Eastwood and Morricone have done, not to mention the recognition they have received, because of their working with Leone and being inspired by him kind of makes me wonder what it would be like had Tonino Delli Colli or Carlo Simi been able to be active today with good health :( It would be great if Morricone and Eastwood colloborated, especially with Eastwood's WWII film coming up.
