does anybody out there know when or if  we will get a region 1 ntsc special edition version of ffdm, ffd and duck you sucker here in america like they do in england?

you cant. But you can buy a region free dvd player and then buy the ones they sell in your europe.
Or you can search ebay and see if they have the SE editions of the films bootlegged for any region.
