Am I the only person that sees the simlarities between Juan Miranda and Scarface's Tony Montana? They both have simalar bad accents, curse, and are obnoxious. Only Juan is the more in depth character, but both have simaler political ideals. Also, Juan stabs the guard on the train very simalar to how Tony Montana stabs the Cuban in the camp in the beginning. Both films end with each character picking up a machine gun, which is another huge coincidence.Anyone think DePalma was taking advantage of the film's obscurity? He is a known rip off artist afterall.
I thought they were simaler in persona aswell, such as being greedy, and wanting bigger scores.=, i.e. ambitiousJuan had a family, and a good friend, so there is a difference after Juan has his eyes opened after the killing of his family.
(Juan made the stagecoach his family's home).
For a while anyway...
Not Juan's faut they couldn't keep it...
