I read some earlier posts and I found one that belongs Tuco the Ugly. It's on Not even at the point of dying thread I think. And one thing puzzles me. Tuco has mention three names Dave Jenkins, Calder Benson Chuck Youngblood. Quote: "I mean everybody knows that Frank is a murderer, so what?Rumour could easily spread trough the West; Frank killed Dave Jenkins, Calder Benson, Chuck Yougblood. Frank thought nobody seen him, he believed he didn't left any witneses behind". That was a surprise for me. I always thought that these were names of the gunmans who helped Frank at the hanging ( you know guy with a apple, one with a rifle at his back and one with no teeth). Then Harmonica chased them and killed them in the large period of time. I guess Harmonica considered them guilty  for a death of his brother, and he killed them first, and final act of revenge keept for Frank. That woul explain that Frank remembers their names and the fact that they are dead. I mean he would know the name of his own gunmans wouldn't he? So he is not afraid that he left a witneses but he is afraid of someone who  tell's that names. That means that man who knows thiese names probably knows many secrets. Frank knows that thiese names were familiar to a very few people. I mean they left no witnesses. 1.)I would like to hear your opinions about this subject. I mean, thiese names, are they belong to a Frank's gunmans or people that were killed by Frank. I remind you Frank is a brutal killer and he doesn't have guilty counciouns. He doesn't remember who he killed and why, I guess he killed to many.

The theory that Jenkins, Benson and Youngblood are the members of Frank's old gang has been kicked around the board a few times:

Ultimately it seems there is no yes or no answer, it's up to you which answer you prefere.

In short lines:
1)Frank is scared when he hears the names, that means they are not just some irelevant guys
2)Harmonica says:"They were all alive 'till they met you Frank..."
-I don't think Harmonica would feel too bad if the murderers of his brother were killed.
The guys at the arch were just expendable gunmen, nothing more I think...

The rest is up to you to figure out.

Yes, but Harmonica certanly would not let them get away with this. After all, they were present at the moment of hanging. Result: they were accomplices in the crime against Harmonica's brother. Harmonica would have certainly killed them first, one by one."they were all alive 'till they met you Frank"- this line can also be explained. They would have still been alive if they had not joined Frank. Frank's actions caused their death. They stood there doing nothing. Harmonica has to kill them. First he killed asistants and then Harmonica goes after Frank. Harmonica would have never left any of them alive.

If he is dead  (let's say that he died, and Frank killed him too), but how come he grew from 10 year old in a hanging scene to his present age? That would mean someone else murdered him when he was already old, but then his revenge would be toward that person who killed him when he was adult, and not toward Frank. ;)

Because it has something to do with Death...

Harmonica is dead. ;)

While it is fun to speculate on this kind of thing, I don't buy this idea for a minute. Some slight evidence may be advanced to support it, but not enough that you can duck being accused of reading too much into too few details.

I said that in short lines 'cause of our new friend here - poderator.Who is let's say bothered by the same questions all we had when we came to the board(and still have).
It was not the-ultimate-answer,it was just a suggestion what topics should he dig up and read... ;)

Thanks...I'm here all week...

Now I always thought the names were Dave Jenkins, Caulder Benson, in Morton's train scene. Then, Jim Cooper, Jack Youngblood in the saloon scene. I never thought it was Chuck.
No, I don't think these are Frank's cronies that he did away with.  I think they were Frank's victims along the way as Harmonica trailed him down through time.  Harmonica also knows Frank well enough to know that he 'fakes evidence'.
