I had to post another film that I forgot to add when I posted. It's called "Without a Trace" and was released in 1983. If you can get your hands on this great film, watch it!! It's one of the most touching, heart-wrenching films you will ever see. The ending is powerful and unforgettable.

I've just realised I forgot to include Pan Tadeusz... :P Everytime that final music starts and the stork takes off... :'(

(No, I didn't write any spoilers. ;))

I've just experienced something strange... I went through Czech subtitles to OUATITW I downloaded, to correct them and so, and when I came to the final sign "Once Upon A Time In The West", I felt exactly how the title of this thread suggests - even only after reading subtitles!
Of course, I wouldn't feel that way if I didn't know the film, but as I do...

Man. Every time I watch this clip, the ol' lump in the throat kicks in.
What a great film, indeed!! O0 O0
BTW, the scene in which the old theatre is torn down is also devastatingly heartwrenching.
Is it just me, or are these kissing montages more sensual and erotic than any porn flick
ever made? I believe so.
I wil always remember my first kiss from every date I ever had, but beyond
that, it is just a fading memory, if you know what I mean. ::)

It just happened to me today... I watched the Czech film Rebelové, retro musical teenager comedy - it would seem. But it isn't only like that, because it takes place in 1968 and, as some of you might know, that year - 21st of August - the soldiers of Warsaw treaty entered Czechoslovakia and stayed here more than 20 years. So the ending of the film is quite sad.
I watched it, because, as all of you should know, yesterday was 21st of August.

Still I didn't expect it to do that to me. But it did. Terribly.

The Green Mile, it didn't make me cry, just made me sad.
Pan's Labyrinth. See description for The Green Mile.
