I don't know if this guy means this seriously (it's written a few months before April Fools Day), but I'll copy it here, for a laugh

There's no doubt that this is Leone's best work, by far.
I've seen some of the reviews on this film, and it's amazing how far of the mark some of them are.
This film was entertaining, fun, full of spectacle, and everything Leone usually isn't.
But what really makes "The Colossus of Rhodes" stand out among his films is the characters. One can see that he excels on his "bookends" with this and "Once Upon a Time In America", with garbage in between.
In those two films, we get actual anti-heroes, instead of the one dimensional caricatures of the spaghetti westerns.
There's no denying that "Colussus" and "America" are the films with his most complex, credible, multidimensional characters. They have faults and values, but most of all, they have motivation. There is zero motivation in the dollar trilogy characters. They just kill every man and woman they see. It's goofy crap for beavis and butthead, the target audience. Here, Rory Calhoun gives us a character who we can like and believe. He is a reluctant hero. He doesn't murder every human he sees. he isn't a psychopath.
In fact, no director has ever tumbled as horribly as Leone, from making an obvious 9/10 film like this, to making 1/10 wastes of celluloid like "A Fistful of Dollars". It defies belief.
It has to do with the era, however. There are still some of the poisoned minds of the late sixties and seventies, who were full of hate, making movies solely for control freaks. In 50 years, they'll be gone, or be babbling invalids no one listens to, and the dollar trilogy will be forgotten, fortunately for Leone, while this will be heralded as his masterpiece.
There are three types of people in the world, my friend: those who can add, and those who can't.

He surely means it. Nice and fresh point of view.
But he shouldn't try to work in the prophesying business in case he is one day looking for a new job.

He's a lunatic that I've tumbled with on occasion, I haven't seen any recent posts on IMDb lately though.
