Just got mine delivered today - Hooray I too shall have to jump right to little Timmy getting filled with lead - Bambadabambam this you brat!
Well, I got my copy Friday the 21st as a birthday present ... the hardest part was waiting three more days! That night I couldn't stand it, so I stayed up late to watch the opening at the train station -- one of cinema's greatest opening sequences ever. Of course then I had to stay up a little longer so I could see Frank pop Timmy! :-) The next day I watched a few of the documentaries and then the movie itself. Five glorious hours ... since then I've played everything but the commentaries, so I need to set more time aside.I have waited so long for this DVD, and it is absolutely fantastic. I'm a photographer, so I'm just savoring the gorgeous colors, Leone's awesome compositions -- now that I can see them in their true form again -- and all the incredible details of the close-ups. (Morricone's music sounds better than ever, too.) It is truly the greatest Western ever made, and Paramount has done a spectacular job. I finally had to register here, so I could share my excitement with those who can appreciate it! Elrond L. Salinas, CA... people really do scare better when they're dyin'. :-)
