This just came to me recently when watching DYS.

Juan & the gang and Villega were travelling at the same time yet somehow Villega managed to arrive at the cafe first and be at work on a patient before Juan gets there.

Seconded. I guess Juan couldn't find the bank so quickly. And don't forget he watched the executions.
