I worked the load in load out for Charlie Daniels Band, just before I left for Montana.

That's pretty cool CJ. O0

CJ, is there a job you - at some point of your life - didn't do? Any at all?

Maybe you haven't worked in the porn business...

But then again - having seen those pics of yours (from the 70s) you posted here some time ago - I wouldn't exclude even that possibility.

i met charlie Danial's long before he made it when he was semi big. his bus was pulled over by the red pig bar-b-q down from where i stay,  i peeked - in and he said howdy. instantly, i knew i was in the presants of tue greatness.

also, found mice elf back 20 years in a recording session w/ taj down in kingsnake studios in Sanford, Fla. after the session was over he loosened up an asked me to open up at a comunity collage over in Daytona beach that night. it was sweet to come back under the new circumstances to a full auditorium of blues enthusiasts

That's cool.

Mark Knopfler & Band yesterday in Prague. Absolutely fantastic. They got a standing ovation. ;)

November 15, 2009: Metallica at Madison Square Garden (what else?)

The evening began with The Ecstasy of Gold (what else?)

Must have been Swans at the club Tavastia, Helsinki, roughly two months ago. Two hours of noise. One of the best gigs of my live.

Ennio Morricone at Radio City was the last big one O0

when was that?

I've been hoping he'll return to NYC sometime, but ever since I've begun checking his website for tour dates (about 2 1/2 years ago), I've never seen an American date

can you talk about that show? how long was it? who was the soprano? did he play a lot of the Leone stuff? (if you discussed it previously here, you can just provide me with the link to that post; I am not gonna even attempt to do a search for it with our wonderful search engine). Thanks!

Saw Muse at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. I'm not really a fan but my sister got tickets so I thought what the hell. I have their Black Holes and Revelations CD and give it a  spin every now and then but I'm not so keen on their later stuff - the dubstep song from their latest album was the worst song of the night. The stage was huge but they filled it with no problem. And they played very well live which unfortunately is not always the case with bands of this caliber. Too bad our seats were pretty high and on the side - there's no reason going to this kind of gig if you can't be at the floor level.

For me the highlight of the gig was their cover of As a Judgement from OUATITW which acted as a intro to their Knights of Cydonia. Very good cover, gave me chills.

The opening acts were the local French Films (forgettable indie rock) and the Danish Mew (forgettable indie rock).

I saw an amazing Led Zeppelin tribute band for the second time a few months back. But most importantly, I'll finally be seeing Pearl Jam on October 15th. Tickets purchased.
