That's hardly the point. I think it's awesome that this dude has devoted his life to finding and reviewing root beer. I wish I were as knowledgable in this area or had the resources to be... :-\

What is awesome is that the internet makes such a site possible.  O0

I think there's a whole untapped market for these kind of sites. I found a few beer review sites, a diet soda page, and many other root beer sites, but nothing comparable on regular colas, fast food chains (well, one, but it didn't work), candies, pretzels... even bottled water! Think of all the potential being squandered. :-\

You're absolutely right! Such dedication is very admirable.

The only thing comparable I've done is a reasonably comprehensive review of Taco Bell's various products... and there are still a few key items missing.

Maybe it would have tasted better, if it wasn't "diet".  Mmmmm.... where's the ice cream??  Time for a float. ;D

I love root beer, but I could really go for a big glass of egg nog right about now.

My favorite of these is probably the Think! Interactive Root Beer:

Quote
i don’t have a clue what makes this “interactive” root beer. certainly not the fact circuit board printed on it or the crappy herbs (ginko biloba, ginseng, and gotu kola) in it. it could be the fact that it tastes like dirt so you will be tempted to throw it across the room and get some exercize this way. but it is not SO bad that i would do that. journey or virgil’s didn’t make it afterall. =) very carbonated, i think i will be belchin’ all evening. good thing my girlfriend is not gonna be back for a few hours. i am not a huge fan of putting weird stuff in my drinks but i guess if you are looking for choline and those other things, this is a reasonably tasty way to get em. oh yeh, IT HAS 4166% OF YOUR RDA OF VITAMIN B12, doesn’t that seem wrong?!

Also, a different website's review of Journey's Root Beer:

Quote
They say they found "folk recipes" from "cultures of antiquity". Got news for you, Journey, there's a reason those "cultures of antiquity" aren't here any more. Perhaps this stuff is what killed off the Maya.
;D
