Pentangle do a nice version.
That's the version she's set on me doing!!!!  I like it - just don't want to squeek it in a folk club / session!!!

Good Night Ladies by Lou Reed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2n6qq9e6v8
I had my last day at work yesterday and I left the place singing this. ;D I improvised like 90% of it though.

You Can Call Me Al - Paul Simon

http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=HOiVaE-pKqM

I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds Simon funnier than Chase. Good song anyway.

An amusing video. But in terms of music, after Bookends and "The Boxer" Simon had nothing to offer us.

I think in terms of music this comes just a little short of his masterpieces (but how many songs are better than The Boxer, I am a Rock or America?). But this is better than, say, Richard Cory or Bookends.  And with that infectious riff really makes you wanna move: a new  riff is hard to find.

As you wish. Truth be told, I'm not much of a Simon fan.

Those Were The Days & Deserted Cities of the Heart by Cream.

The odd riffage in both songs goes so good together.

The one song I have rattling round my brain more than any other is Glen Campbells sublime Wichita Lineman.  The only way to get rid of it once its there is to go to sleep
