Picnic at Hanging Rock - 7/10 - A Heritage film with a vaguely supernatural twist. Pretty to look at, and really nice music (with significant contribution from our main man Zamfhir), but there doesn't seem much point to it all. Perhaps repeat viewings would get more of a reaction out of me.

The only point I think it has is that when humans come up against the Great Unknown a lot of questions get raised that can't be answered. And some people can't handle that.

I like the film (for the reasons you mention, sound and image) and look forward to seeing it on Blu-ray.
