Blondie's very first words. That makes all the difference between SW and any other one.

I LOVE that whole scene - cracks me up every time!  That's a genuine "Leone comedy scene in a western" - great scene - one of my faves - lol.

Yeah  - another great line - love that one, too - lol.

I also like the scene where Tuco is being 'fattened up for the kill', so to speak, and AE asks him, "You like music with your meal, Tuco?"  Tuco replies, "Yes - very good - very good for the digestion".  Then after Tuco's been beaten by Wallace, AE says, "How's your digestion now?"

From the part that always tugs at my heart strings:

"Where we came from, if one did not want to die of poverty, one became a priest or a bandit! You chose your way, I chose mine. Mine was harder." —Tuco

Blondie is the most quoted cinematic character of all time.

Most of you are too young to have experienced GBU first run at the theaters in late 1960s - how the audience roared and howled at those lines, the jokes.  Every one of the jokes, every one, none missed the mark.  Nowadays, even if you are blessed enough to see GBU at a theater (like I did April 2008), most in the audience have seen it many times, so one doesn't get that first-time audience reaction.

That's very true, Cusser.   Considering how many times it's been shown on tv, not to mention all the copies that have been sold on VHS, DVD, etc. over the years, people have 'gotten used to' the jokes and the funny lines and scenes, so no one today would react the way an audience would if viewing it for the first time.  I, myself, can say that, every time I see it, I can't help but laugh, NO matter HOW many times I see it - STILL funny to me!
