Not that big a fan of the original but I found this news kinda interesting considering it sounds like a load of bollocks.
Didn't we say all we needed to say with the original?
Oh well, hopefully they can come up with some song numbers to rival the first one.
That soundtrack is great!

I think the original is great,the soundtrack fantastic.

I'm intrigued about the inclusion of some the original cast but i'm still doubtful that it'll be anywhere near as good without Shaffers screenplay. $:-\$

Huh, you didn't see this one coming, did you?

After nearly 40 years Robin Hardy re-imagining his own cult flick The Wicker Man, Christopher Lee reprising his role as Lord Summerisle. I guess they didn't fancy that one with Nicolas Cage and Ellen Burstyn much?

They've been talking about this for years.Wasn't it originally to be called THE RIDING OF THE LAIRDIE? I'm very dubious about this and feel it's bound to be as dreadful as Cage's movie.

Well now that you mentioned it I did hear about this a few years back, but forgot all about it. And yeah, cowboys preaching Christianity in Scotland, I too have the feeling it's gonna be something memorable.
