Wow, great timing, thanks N_L.  O0 I think CJ and I are going to meet up for a OUATIA tour on Tuesday. That info, and those images, will be really helpful.

Just got back from my trip with CJ to Brooklyn and Williamsburg. Finding the famous view of the Manhattan Bridge was a highlight (good news! the arch is no longer fenced off. There was a downpour and CJ and I were able to take cover beneath it). Williamsburg was a little disappointing: so few of the Leone locations are recognizable. We saw a lot of Orthodox Jews walking around, though: including a modern-day Deborah.

Afterwards CJ and I returned to Manhattan for some refreshment at McSorley's. Great ambience, great ale (both the light and dark are very tasty)--even the food's not bad. This is a place the visitors to NY should always go, regardless of whether they are Leone fans or not.

Of course, it was fun meeting the infamous Cigar Joe in real life. I enjoyed chatting with you very much, CJ. We'll have to do something like this again. Maybe next time we'll go to Queens? Anyway, I propose we establish the NY chapter of the Fraternal Order of Leone and have annual meetings. Any excuse to go back to McSorley's.

Sounds good to me  O0

Anybody coming to NYC should contact us & we will definitely take you to McSorley's Old Ale House.

I'll start uploading the images:

We started our trek through Leone World at the Jay Street Station walked to DUMBO found Arch under the Brooklyn anchorage of the Manhattan Bridge, Washington St. one block West gives you the bridge tower view. Adams and John St building is factory site. We then walked around the old Brooklyn Navy Yard to Williamsburg. Fat Moe's was at the corner of Berry and 8th St. in Williamsburg. Max rolls drunk on 6th St. along South Side of Williamsburg Bridge. We ended our Brooklyn trek at the Marcy Ave. Station and rode over the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan to finnish off the day at McSorley's Ale House on E. 7th St. in Manhattan.

Really nice location photos guys  O0

I'm only 3 hours from NY (I live down in DC) so next time I'm there I'll try to visit some of those places personally. Might have to twist my wife's arm a bit tho...

Do you both live in NY or were you just visiting together?

I'm about 100 miles from the city DJ is closer we just rode our respective trains to Grand Central Station met there then rode the subway to Brooklyn.

It was a hot & humid/rainy day, I dressed accordingly can't help it if we both ended up looking like Aussies, lol
