trust a man who wears both a belt and suspenders?

Well, those videos are awesome, but not for that reason. O0

the old men said you once posted a pic of yourself and your girlfriend, and that titoli commented that she looked like your sister -- a comment that had dj cracking up like hell every time he recalled it, which must have been at least 5 times throughout the day  ;D

Well, it was titoli's only funny joke ever, so it has to be savored.

His comment re: you and Noah Webster gave me a few chuckles.

I've searched these boards for that picture, and cj & dj searched for me as well, but none of us could find it. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you did not take it down after you guys split, but rather it's just due to our awful search engine that I couldn't find it.

What I am trying to say is....

I WANNA SEE THE PIC!  :-*

we had a discussion about this a while back, initiated by the board member ONCE. He said the buildings looked similar (but we saw some important differences also) so this CGi explains it; he was correct.

Unfortunately, he left the boards a while ago, deactivated his account and deleted all of his posts (many of which contained terrific information, featuring lots of research).

that old discussion starts here http://www.fistful-of-leone.com/forums/index.php?topic=8376.msg152337#msg152337 (unfortunately, it looks rificulous cuz ONCE's posts, which initiated the discussion, are gone!)

I bet ONCE still snooping around here; perhaps he's signed on with another name.

Anyway, if anyone else ever decides to leave the boards, please have the courtesy of leaving your account active so that the previous conversations don't get screwed up  ;)

great job, pippo  O0 O0 O0 O0

if you compare that Google Maps street view image to the screen caps from OUATIA a few pages back on this thread http://www.fistful-of-leone.com/forums/index.php?topic=8376.60

you can tell, it's nearly 100% certain that this is indeed the building they used.

Somebody should email A1 about this, cuz he got it wrong. On his fantastic site http://msb247.awardspace.com/indxloc.htm click "Filming Locations" on the top left corner, then click "Montreal," and he says that the scene where "Noodles Goes to a Reformatory for Boys" was filmed in Montreal. Well, he is wrong about that.

I don't see any contact info for him on his website, but I know he used to be on these boards and I figger some of y'all may have contact with him; if any of you do, definitely let him know about this so he can update his site.

Again, great job pippo  O0 O0 O0

DJ, you gotta add this to the paper clip  ;)

I did some Googling as pippo suggested and found a site which is dedicated to looking at old buildings in Williamsbur; it's probably te site that led Pippo to this building: here is the site http://forgotten-ny.com/2009/01/i-kent-explain-a-brooklyn-waterfront-avenue/

scroll down near the bottom, it talks about this building (and shows a picture from the other side)

so, this building is on the square block between Kent Ave., Taaffe Place, Little Nassau Street, and Flushing Ave. in Williamsburg. This entrance is on Kent Ave.

We gotta add it to the Leone NYC Locations tour   :)
