The phrase "a star-studded cast" is often overdone and I figure that a measure of star-studdedness could be the number of Oscar winners and nominees included.

Among westerns, does any film beat The Wild Bunch, which had two Best Actors (William Holden and Ernest Borgnine), two Best Supporting Actors (Edmond O'Brien and Ben Johnson) and one nominee (Robert Ryan)?

What a bunch.

I'd guess How the West Was Won would win by default.
